The Tea Party & The Obamanistas
Today across the country there are hundreds of meetings,-Tea Parties-, taking place. There citizens, who are owners of America, will gather to question the budget and other recent actions and inaction of Congress and the current administration.
These Tea Party events are another signal that there is a growing restlessness among a large sector of the citizens/owners of America. There will be foreshadowing of our future as a nation signaled by the response of the governing administration and legislature to this outpouring of concern. Shareholders of America are meeting on the streets to tell their political employees that they need to change their ways. If there is not a serious recognition of The Tea Party concerns by Pelosi, Reid and their cohorts it will not bode well for our future as a nation.
Listening to, so called, Progressive radio in the last days has been a stunning revelation of the Obamanistas determination to shut down any debate concerning what looks like a strengthening march to Fascism. I listened to Air America’s Thom Hartmann and others call their Brown Shirts to muster and give them marching orders to interrupt the Tea Parties and their demonstration of citizen concern. This morning I heard a Progressive radio host encouraging a disruption and discussing whether the assault on the Denver Tea Party should be with rotten fruit and vegetables or by circling the event with blaring horns.
There has been concern by many that the path of the current administration is leading to socialism. I fear that this is the lesser of the two possibilities that this path has as a destination.
.
The government taking over the auto industry, the banks and printing money without restraint, indicates a start of a movement to government that is following a path originated by Benito Mussolini. The recent administration actions revive memories of my 20th Century European history course which covered the path taken by Mussolini in developing his Fascist take over of Italy.
Far fetched? I no longer think so. The Porkulous bill recently passed is a clear indication that the political interests have little real recognition or care concerning the financial and general unrest felt by the public. The convenient distraction by the Wall Street greed is giving the politicians cover. Demonizing the banks and investment community allows the political interests to move on their agenda while they incite the public to focus on the “Evils of Capitalization” as the root of all financial problems.
It is very interesting that thousands of American’s have planned hundreds of peaceful Tea Parties today to bring public attention to important issues not being addressed by government while the major media has essentially ignored the event. There has been almost no mention of this national outpouring of concern by any of the major media organizations. Twitter is where you need to go to find out where these meeting are taking place. To take away the voice of the people, the control of the media is a first step by a government determined to eliminate public opposition. There is a current movement to revive the Fairness Doctrine in broadcasting. This legislation would essentially silence talk show opposition to government actions on the radio or TV. Check out the proponents and you will find that they are minions of Nancy and the Congressional majority.
Why would they want to do this. They won!. They control, The House, The Senate and The Executive Branches of government. It indicates that the information given to the public is the next area of control needed for our government to be restructured to meet the goals of the administration. Those administration goals now seem to be far more than those needed to end a recession.
Watch the reporting of the Tea Party movement today. I would not be surprised if the reporting and response of government downplays the event and the concerns of this group of people, who are “owners” of America. This was at one time a country with a “government of the people, by the people and for the people.” Today might be an indication as to whether we still are that country.
