Terrorists Activity?- Relax, Obama’s System Works

by Buck on December 29, 2009

After three days of “no show” the President emerged from the Hawaiian White House to assure us he is monitoring things from poolside and we shouldn’t worry about terrorist attacks on American airlines. The White House told us that the system that failed to identify the Al Qaeda terrorist was put in place during the Bush administration. The Obama team reminded us once again that all things that go wrong in this administration were caused by Bush..

Janet Napolitano, Secretary for Homeland Defense, announced on TV that her system worked. She said this when commenting on the terrorist attempt to blow up a Northwest flight returning to the U.S. from Europe. Janet is truly a giant of an administrator. When the Al Qaeda operative started to set the explosive in his underwear on fire in the plane, a passenger leaped across the seats. He put the terrorist into a neck lock and dragged him out of his seat where he was joined by other passengers who helped subdue the Nigerian terrorist and poured water on the flames.

The Presidents Press Secretary(Gibbs) also assured America that the system to identify terrorists was in place and working. I never would have believed that we had a working system that involved passengers leaping over seats to wring the necks of terrorists who were in the process of trying to blow up a plane full of Americans. Where does Homeland Security train the seat leaping, neck wringing agents disguised as passengers. You are truly amazing Janet, but I’d like to suggest that when you are informed by the father of an Al Qaeda agent that he thinks his son is being trained in Yemen, to attack Americans your system might want to put the name on a no fly list. It would be OK with me if you then brought out the water boards when he is caught trying to board a plane with his boxer shorts filled with explosives.

Oh! I forgot Eric Holder. Is your seat leaping, neck wringing agent disguised as a passenger going to face a trial led by Eric Holder over the use of excessive neck wringing during the action on the plane saving the lives of all those passengers?

I know that things are under control because Obama said so, when he announced he was closely following the events 3 days after the foiled terrorist attack.

I really would be reassured that I shouldn’t worry when flying, if Janet would tell us how many of her Homeland Security Agents had been trained in the seat leaping, neck wringing, terrorist defense system that she has initiated to protect American flights.

According to press accounts, this perp was in our database of people to watch. How did he get clearance to fly into the US? His father even dimed him out a few months ago.

Anybody on duty in the FBI office on Christmas?

I always thought a good time for the nutbags to attack us would be on a holiday like Christmas when staffing is reduced and those on duty tend to be a tad distracted ?

If it weren’t for a clutzy bomber or a chemcial malfunction, this could have been a real tragedy.

Homeland security chief Napolitano should resign over her uninformed, politically correct, “don’t have a clue” comments that “the system worked” The entire system that is supposed to provide a reasonable degree of security in matters like this didn’t work at all Janet!!!!

Both are stupid dipshits, who could use a good necklock to drag them out of office!

The dynamic response of the passengers on this flight, as well as others on 9/11, are an important and perhaps overlooked part of the story.

Americans are demonstrating that their rage and sense of helplessness in the face of terror threats. These feelings seem to translate into an immediate, dynamic and courageous response when danger presents itself.

It seems there may an untapped reservoir of manpower to be grateful for in our fight for safety in the air. Oddly enough I begin to wonder if we are shooting ourselves in the foot by ensuring the passenger list is always at the maximum vulnerability. More air marshalls? Retired cops? Reservists? Whatever the answer, there is something to think about here.
