Sorry State of The Union
Obama loves to be the President. That is apparent since he plays the role somewhere in public almost every day. He is Presidential in speaking to elementary schools, retirement villages, union gatherings, educators and on and on. It is almost impossible to keep up with his speaking schedule and his obvious enjoyment of people being excited because the President is in their midst.
He has kept an election schedule going since he was sworn in one year ago. In his State of the Union Speech he continued his stance of making presidential pronouncements as he has done for a year. Once again he looked backwards to blame others for the dilemma we find ourselves facing.
Obama does not seem to understand that he was elected to the Presidency which requires actual solutions to the problems of the Nation. We have heard enough promises and excuses blaming the previous administration. Political double speak has no more traction with America. He is President and it is his job to work through and solve the problems. Talking to kindergarten groups will solve no problems other than salving the massive ego of the President. 17 % of the American work force is either unemployed or underemployed. There is economic pain everywhere and it is growing under Obama’s leaderless administration
Obama says that jobs will be a priority and he wants a jobs bill on his desk. What is a jobs bill? There is no such thing. Does he expect to pass a bill that requires jobs to appear? The problem is that he never has had a real job. He has no clue as to what creates jobs. Allowing the energy of the private sector to flourish is the answer needed and the answer that will not appear from this administration. They have not studied the history of economic downturns and are repeating the missteps taken by Satists every time there is a recession. His expansion of government intervention do not produce any answers to economic problems. Check out his Stimulus Bill. Stimu-less was the result
Increasing the debt he inherited from $400 billion to $1.5 trillion in a year with continued growth of unemployment is the answer Obama, Reis and Pelosi have given us in the last 12 months. The Sorry State of the Obama Union would be a better choice of a title for last night’s presentation
