Obama-A One Trick Pony
The President reminds me of what is referred to as a One Trick Pony. In the music business it is a performer who had one hit and tries to parlay that into greater success but doesn’t succeed. It is a chef who does one great dish but can’t get anything else right
It is a President who captures the office with an appeal to a moment of particular public discontent and can’t get anything else right. We have a President that is a one trick pony and the audience is not interested in the trick that they are seeing over and over again.
The politician with a narrow view that cannot recognize the audience and keeps performing the same trick is soon performing to an empty room. The Obama audience is heading for the exits and Scott Brown may have started the rush to the doors. The Obama script has been recognized as amateur in the area of the audiences’ interest, which is “Jobs”
Obama and his minions are focused on their Statist big government agenda and they have little interest in the view of the public whom they supposedly represent. The support of major financial interests is where Obama has placed his interest. Goldman Sachs has received more attention than the issue of jobs. Chase and JP Morgan are only one year away from the supposed edge of demise and are showing huge profits on their balance sheets.
The support of George Bush with his Troubled Asset Relief Program and the intensified continued support of Obama has produced a new structure of financial institutions larger and more complex than the structure that was advertised as “too big to fail”. Chase is bigger than ever and seems to be taking over smaller banks on a daily basis. The new bigger banks have not demonstrated an interest in supporting the growth of small businesses. This is where the jobs are created. The public is recognizing that the Obama administration does not have a real interest in or perhaps lacks the understanding as to how new jobs are created.
The nation is starting to see that Obama is an empty suit and his egotistic approach to the Presidency shows his lack of real knowledge about many important areas of economics. The massive ego has blinded any understanding of the American people. They are an audience that says “Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice shame on me” It is not often that this audience can be fooled twice. Scott Brown and the election of Republican governors to New Jersey and Virginia are indications that America is not going to be fooled twice by the Obama rhetoric and the inept, sad leadership of Reid and Pelosi in Congress..
Character is the important, first element needed to build an administration and that is no part of Presidents administration. Can anyone seriously describe Reid and Pelosi as leaders that possess any moral characteristics. They are characters all right and could be the stars of a comedy of errors. The moves they have made with their moment on stage are all variations of the same trick which is to expand government control of our lives and expand their power .
The Obama role is to lend a charismatic oversight to the Statist movement. They apparently thought that their one trick pony would hold the audience through the several acts of their political plan. The big mistake is that they underestimated the audience. The American public always has stepped up in a moment of crises. Scott Brown stepped up in our moment of need and is leading the way to the exits with his victory in Massachusetts.
