Obama’s Administration Slow and Stupid—Tough to Fix
I received an email about Obama that said that you can’t fix stupid, implying that his problem couldn’t be fixed. When I was a kid in school playing baseball my coach said to me that he would teach me everything he could but he couldn’t teach “fast”. You either were fast or you weren’t.
I’m not sure that my analogy is totally correct but slow and stupid seem to be fighting to be part of this post about Obama and his minions. I think that stupid doesn’t fit Obama but I have become totally convinced that no amount of coaching can change the Statist thinking of he and Pelosi and Reid. Forget fixing, these people are irreparable.
This Obama team is dedicated to a philosophy honed by extreme left wing coaches. Their coaches did a good job. Every pronouncement by the administration espouses a government solution to the problems facing America . The one area untouched is their recognition as to the role of government contributing to our economic problems.
Obama gave a speech concerning the unemployment problem and alluded to small businesses as a cause for the lack of new employment. He indicated that businesses were not hiring additional employees because, they were demanding more productivity from current employees in a search for profits. I need a day to think about almost everything that comes out of his mouth. It is like he is speaking in tongues, because almost everything he says cannot be understood by applying rational consideration
Seeking a profit is not a bad thing Barack. That is what businesses are all about.
I have a feeling that trying to make a point to this administration is like trying to “teach fast”. It simply can’t be done.
I’ll try anyway.
Barack, Harry, Nancy and Rahm: Gather round and listen up
Profits are needed to stay in business and pay employees, taxes and rent and insurance and kids tuitions to college and gifts to charity and mortgages on homes for both employers and employees and heath insurance and the salary of every member of the government, elected, appointed or simply hired..
Every dollar of government spending is funded by taxes on individuals and businesses, both domestic and foreign. The individuals are first funded by businesses that hopefully can keep funding them by being profitable and staying in business.
Government can help employment by lowering taxes and giving business the freedom to expand profitable operations so your salaries can continue to be paid by the profitable activities of private enterprise.
That’s it- except I want you to read Adam Smith’s The Wealth of Nations for your next
Assignment. Smith figured out in 1776 (a very good year) that government did not create wealth. Private sector activity created the Wealth of Nations.
