Lou Dobbs Attacked by The Obama Nation

Lou Dobbs the nationally prominent CNN commentator made a mistake the other day.
He indicated that the group questioning Obama’s birth as a citizen (Birthers) would be put to rest if the President would produce a legitimate birth certificate. Dobbs stated that he had no doubt that Obama was constitutionally qualified to be President but could not understand why he wouldn’t produce a birth certificate to stop all the contention over the issue.

Seems like a simple reasonable query to me. It is pretty much the way I feel about the whole issue. Obama is undoubtedly qualified but he has let this issue grow by his refusal to answer the reason for the birth certificate absence.

Because Dobbs had what Obamanestas term an act of unreasonable temerity in bringing up this mild question he has been massively assaulted from the Left. CNN is besieged by calls for his immediate dismissal. The Progressive radio stations are labeling him as a radical right wing racist commentator which Lou Dobbs certainly is not.

Rachel Madow the most obnoxious of the “Progressive” radio personalities has labeled Dobbs as a Birther determined to undermine the Obama administration with lies and deceit. The lie in the piece was from Madow who indicated that Dobbs had joined the Birthers in their attempt to unseat the Mighty One. (my term not hers)

Dobbs is not a Birther, certainly not a racist and has clearly stated that he believes the President is Constitutionally qualified. He now has become the latest target of the Obama squad of dissent silencers. This Obama team stands ready to silence any statement or spoken thought that they feel threatens their hero.

Another example of the Obama Silencers involves Blogs.

Reddit is a widely accessed web site that lists various Blogs on a wide range of subjects. The readers vote on the listed Blogs to decide whether they will receive a prominent listing , be buried in the listings or disappear completely. No Blog containing even a mild criticism of Obama ever receives a prominent listing. A Blog that has even the mildest negative comment about Obama immediately receives enough down votes to bury it. There is an Obama version of Brown Shirts ready to shout down any criticism of the President. Opponents are greeted with accusations of racism by these Obamanestas. They use every possible means to stifle freedom of speech that points out the weaknesses of our President. The First Amendment means nothing to the Obama defense team unless it is being used by them to castigate the Obama critics

The Birther issue sends them into frenzy when it is brought up by any commentator. Constitutional issues as to Obama’s ineligibility are not something that will gain any traction in the Obama camp even if there was validity to doubts being raised.

Dobbs learned that the Obama supporters feel that they can rescind the First Amendment if someone even indicates a weakness in this Presidency. They are like mad dogs in the vicious nature of their attack on Dobbs. They are scary people.

No disrespect, but I think this whole issue is ridiculous.

Obama’s birth certificate has been presented and investigated and resolved seemingly a thousand times since he has been running for public office for years now (here’s a picture of it http://www.swamppolitics.com/news/politics/blog/2009/07/obama_hawaiianborn_hawaii_insi.html). The scary part is that there are idiots out there that are wasting government resources chasing down something that is a complete waste of time when they should be focusing on the economy, healthcare and kicking some terrorist ass. I wonder if these same people would be questioning John McCain if he were president, being that he was born in the Panama Canal zone.

The problem with Lou is that he did not check the facts. By making the statement, he is only propagating the idiocy. I do think that he is getting a bit of a raw deal. He is certainly not some radical as he’s being painted.

Now, before you say it, I’m not some ultra leftist. I think I’m pretty much right down the middle on most issues, hence my independent registration. It just irritates me to no end when either side takes their respective eye off of the ball. Especially in times like these.

Anyway, my 2 cents.

Who gets to determine what a “legitimate birth certificate is? You birthers, or the State of Hawaii? Because the State of Hawaii has already said, repeatedly, that the COLB they’ve issued President Obama is a legitimate birth certificate. It even says, on its face, “This copy serves as prima facie evidence of the fact of birth in any court proceeding.” The ONLY reason that birthers won’t find that “legitimate” is because it clearly states that Barack Obama was born in Honolulu, Hawaii on August 4, 1961. You want a certificate that says he was born in Kenya, or Indonesia, or British Columbia, or Mars, or anywhere other than the United States… mostly because most birthers cannot figure out how in the hell we let a black guy inhabit the White House.

Now I am a Birther according to diogenes. She is obviously a true believer in The Obama Dogma of Infallibility.
Fact: The Certificate of Live Birth is not a Birth Certificate. Hawaii has a long form Birth Certificate which lists hospital, Doctor Date and all details. This is the official birth certificate This has not been seen.
Fact: Huffington Post has indicated that the Birthers are wacky but the Administration is even stranger since they have not shown the Birth Certificate only the Certificate of Live Birth. Is Ariana now a Birther?
The reason Birthers have not found the Certificate of Live Birth to be a legitimate birth certificate is because it is not a legitimate birth certificate.
Diogenes also doesn’t seem to understand that a “black guy” is President because 52% of Americans who voted, voted for Obama. The race card she plays is old and tiring and the ploy of those who cannot accept reasonable dissent.

The COLB is the legal document issued to you by the State of Hawaii when you ask for a copy of your birth certificate.

Game, set, match.

That’s all you need for any court proceeding.

WHy do you need to see the doctor’s name? What difference does that make? Obama had to prove he was born in the State of Hawaii. He did that. What information is REQUIRED that isn’t shown on the COLB but might show on a long-form certiificate? Answer: nothing. You’re just trying to stir the pot, trying to hang on to any thread that might give you an excuse not to acknowledge that a black man is President of the United States.

Robert Gibbs had it right, when he was asked what would satisfy the birthers: “Nothing.”

But we do agree on one thing, Uncle Buck: racism is old and tiresome. So why don’t you move past it?

Diogenes, Game , Set and Match? I don’t think so. the warm up period is still on. Did you advise Nixon? the Court on which this is being played is that of public opinion. Nixon also didn’t think that was important.

Carla. You indicate honesty by clarifying your agenda and you are clearly indicating a firmly held belief that the Health Bill is not heading in the direction of limiting treatments for the elderly that are costly. The statements by Obama and Daschle indicate a less generous direction towards people of my age group and older. Read their statements carefully and you will find areas less clear than you believe is indicated in the bill on this subject
Then read the hate filled statements of diogenes and you will understand why I am hesitant to let her and her ilk handle health decisions in my aging years.
Her decision would be “Pacemaker? forget about it take one of these black pills and your pain will be gone forever”

Funny how you don’t actually address the fact that the COLB is what Hawaii issues, and it provides the only info that is constitutionally necessary: Obama is a native born American over the age of 35. Nothing else is required, so your birfer crap is.. well, crap.

Diogenes,
Modern cynics who are successful in making their point have discovered that a sharp sense humor often helps in the debate.
You obviously are the classic cynic continuing to refuse to believe in the sincerity or goodness of any man.
Has your lantern gone completely dark?

Well, the lantern has been a bit dimmer ever since encountering this blog, now that you mention it.

Diogenes, That’s better!
