Health Care Bill Fixed
The administration engineered an almost impossible to understand mechanism in the House and Senate to get their Health Care Plan passed. The House passed the Senate bill with everyone committed to make strategic changes (fixes) in the bill after it was passed. Those changes have now been made and the President has today signed the “fixes” in the Bill.
The first thing to note is that the fixes to the Bill today have increased the cost of the plan by 65 billion dollars. That is a 65 billion dollar increase in the first week since the bill was passed. I can’t imagine what the cost will actually be once they start rolling out the various new government agencies to deal with details of administration.
The changes include the amount of the fine that citizens will pay if they do not buy into the government plan-$695 and $2000 per employee for businesses that do not cover workers as per the government directives.
There is little doubt that this bill promotes an Obama strategy for a major redistribution of the wealth in America as a major part of his Health Care reform.
I have had doubts about this administration since day one but as time passes I realize that my fears have been understated. My country is being overtaken by a carefully structured Statist Coup. Over the last year I have blocked out many of the dire predictions of Conservative spokespersons as being impossible.
Listening to Obama vilify the insurance companies as he has done with the banks and auto industry has awakened me to the reality of his strategy
Obama is concentrating on building his solid base of support from those receiving or expecting to receive government entitlements. Cash for clunkers, subsidized health care, extended unemployment benefits and expanded mortgage help for those who bought homes they could not afford are all part of the Obama strategy. There is a plan to allow home refinance at 110% of appraised value and the Fed is printing dollars as if they were real money..
Nowhere is there a creditable plan for increasing jobs. Small business is where jobs are primarily created and the Health Plan threatens small business. This will mean more individuals dependent on the government largess.
Next administration push will be immigration reform, which will place millions more on the government dole and support for Obama will be the result of whatever immigration plan he unveils. Obama is scrapping the Declaration of Independence with his Declaration of Dependence as the base for America’s future.
We need Nancy and Harry out of their leadership positions in November and that will be tough unless America wakes up to the reality of what is happening.
New Zealand may look good but, I want my country back.
