Food Blog Coming Soon
Dozens of friends have responded with suggestions concerning my occasional diversion from political and economic Blog Posts. The comments almost unanimously encourage me to expand my writing about things other than Obama and this administration. My doctor has suggested that Nancy Pelosi is probably the cause for the occasional high spike in my blood pressure. On top of this advice I find that my food thoughts bring in very large readership numbers.
I am preparing the design for a new blog which will be a 3 times a week posting. I will be discussing food trends, healthy eating, share recipes and describe restaurants we have enjoyed in our travels in the U.S. and Europe.
I don’t want the Obamanistas to relax. I fully intend to keep up the commentary on the destructive nature of the actions being pursued by the current administration in a continuation of Buck Says.
To digress from food thoughts for a few minutes:
The latest example of the Administration’s extraordinary behavior is the Cap & Trade bill that was passed by the House but not read before passage. There are sections that have been left out to be filled in later. Don’t ask how this happens because your question will not be addressed sensibly by our Nancy.
The Socialization of Health Care in America is progressing through the House with the Daschle euthanasia section remaining. The Administration bill is being designed to prohibit expensive procedures being available for older people. The Obama thought is that since they are going to die soon anyway why spend the money on older citizens. This will help with Social Security since the early deaths will mean less benefits to pay with elderly people passing away earlier.
With the President giving advice to Russia it has given me a chance to think about other things for a time. He really impressed Putin didn’t he?? I think that he basically wasted time in Russia since he really doesn’t seem to understand who runs things there.
At any rate he has given my brain some space for a week to get the food blog organized.
The name of the Blog is the major thing yet to be resolved. It is a task that requires clever use of words since almost everything we have considered is taken. If you have a suggestion please forward it for consideration. If we use your suggestion we will award a recently published cook book as a prize. Our selection will be region specific if appropriate.
