Eric Holder- Ruby Ridge, Waco, now the CIA
The Attorney General Eric Holder has appointed a special prosecutor to investigate the CIA Interrogation techniques used on terrorist operatives.
The Obama Administration is not relaxing one moment in their attempt to disassemble the American government and remake it in the image envisioned by those radical left wing influences that guided the young Barack Obama. The documentation of Obama’s early years and their translation into the Presidency is becoming clearer by the moment.
The stunning visit to Europe where he apologized for American actions through the years was a precursor to the dismemberment of our nation that is now being undertaken at almost warp speed by Obama and his dismemberment helpers. Eric Holder has a long history of actions that are designed to undermine the freedom of action by Americans.
Holder has a history that includes involvement in Ruby Ridge, the Waco attack and slaughter of the Davidians and was recognized as being a significant influence in the pardon of convicted felon Marc Rich. Holder in addition is a major proponent of disarming Americans and ending the right to bear arms as provided by the 2nd Amendment of the Constitution.
He now has taken actions that will inhibit the CIA in it’s mission to protect America from the actions of foreign terrorists. President Obama gave Holder a free hand to investigate and prosecute those CIA officers that he deems guilty of unlawful interrogation tactics used on terrorist captives. To that end Holder has appointed John Durham to lead the investigation as a special prosecutor.
The action of the President is contrary to his promise not to seek prosecution of CIA interrogators. Holder, with the Presidents acquiescence, is taking a full bore attack on the CIA without concern for the effect on the protection of America against the actions of terrorists.
Was the CIA sometimes tough in their tactics? Absolutely! They often blew cigar smoke in the captives face while questioning them, which sometimes nauseated the terrorists. They sometimes poured water over their heads for 10 or 15 minutes while they were on a concrete floor which was not covered or cushioned. I can relate to that experience since I pour water over my head just about every morning of my life for close to 10 minutes. The interrogators sometimes threatened the terrorists with family involvement if they didn’t divulge terrorist plans to attack America.They also water boarded several of the worst offenders but unfortunately didn’t succeed in drowning them.
This Obama /Holder attack on the CIA may possibly cripple their effective operations in the work to thwart terrorist attacks. I don’t think this bothers Holder or Obama one bit. The public nature of their actions against the CIA speaks volumes as to how they regard the safety of our country and how little they regard the brave men and women who have dedicated their careers and lives to the protection of our Nation.
We do need to make a change and the nature of the change is now abundantly clear. The first step is in 2010 and the next step is 2012.
