1st Amendment: Pelosi Hoyer Revisions
Nanct Pelosi and Majority leader Steny Hoyer have joined in fabricating their new version of the 1st Amendment. Only those who are supporting the outrageous Democrat Health proposals can speak. Those millions who are upset with the Pelosi/Obama plan are being characterized as un-American disruptors. The angry comments at Town hall meetings according to Nancy and Steny are the result of organized opponents and should have little effect on the plans for government take over of another aspect of our lives.
The Democrat leaderships objections to groups organizing to defeat their plan would be amusing if it were not so duplicitous. Communities of citizens with like interests organizing to promote responsible government action is an American tradition. Our President has been glorified by these same Democrat leaders for his early experience as a Community Organizer in Chicago. It seems that community activism is OK only if it is structured to promote the Statist goals of our current administration.
The Liberal Left in America has a long history of vocal protestations over Conservative programs that were contrary to their Liberal goals for expansion of entitlements.
It has often been noted that in political contests that the Left has owned the streets. The Conservatives have been more reserved and have not traditionally appeared in vocal disruptive groups as a means to make their point.
The current raucous Town Meetings have taken Nancy and Steny by surprise. Their answer to citizen outrage at the proposal is being met with their declaration that it is all a Right Wing conspiracy designed to stop their plans. I remember the last time we heard this defense was from Hillary defending one or another of the Clinton excitements.
What Nancy doesn’t recognize or maybe doesn’t care about is the growing massive objections to the Health Plan designed by Nancy and her Statists. She is determined that no mere citizens are going to disrupt her plans for the next expansion of her power. She is truly a scary person. Her vision of America is not one that I share and many are joining my side of the issue as they recognize the Nancy Danger we face from this Administration.
A little raucous outrage at the Town Meetings is not necessarily a bad thing as long as violence is avoided. Nancy hasn’t demonstrated any ability to listen to reason. Raucous might do the trick. It might get a few sensible members of her caucus to stand up for Americans and not just continue to blindly support Scary Nancy.
